Can You Put Nail Polish Over Acrylic
I posted a very similar thread yesterday.
Can you put nail polish over acrylic. Although the application process will be a little different more time-consuming and a little more challenging. Or you can mix colors to create nail art. Also if you want to remove the polish or change it but you still want to keep the acrylics use a non-acetone polish.
Often they are top coated with gel top coat. Then only apply the two to three coats of polish on the acrylic nails. If I use acetone I might hurt my nails underneath.
When you use nail polish to paint a design it can often turn out lumpy. I use the dip polish over acrylic nails I have not had my nails filled since March 2 and they are really starting to grow out my tech used a drill to grind off the old polish which I can not do at home. Its finally time to put on nail polish.
Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and start. Just pick a color that covers well. You can use any Normal polish over acrylics the polish will last until the next app.
Apply 3-4 strokes of basecoat. Nail varnish would work out quite. Or just bring in all your nail art tools.
The White part may show through. Wait for the base coat to dry fiRst do not rush through at all. Acrylic overlay nails have a more natural look and can be thinner than an acrylic full set because they do not have the additional thickness of nail tips and people who want acrylic overlay opt for a natural look anyway.
